About the Founder and Designer
Nadeesha Rathnayaka is the creative force behind “Áarya by Nadeesha”, a brand that is making positive strides in Sri Lanka’s fashion industry. She obtained her diploma in fashion design from a leading design school in Sri Lanka whilst reading for her B.Sc. in Business at the University of Colombo.
Leaving a career in the corporate sector, Nadeesha launched her designer brand “Áarya” focused on delivering a high end and unique line of apparel to the market. The “Áarya” brand was launched in 2019 with “Occasion Wear”, a collection of stylish, handmade ready to wear sarees for any social occasion. Nadeesha has just launched her new collections of “Bridal Wear” sarees and lehengas.
