When selecting colour palettes this season one of our ‘must haves’ is a variety of shades of blue. Its’ calming hues, as blue as the ocean makes it very appealing. You can use shades of blue for everything from invites, to bridesmaids’ dresses, to décor, to cake, to stunning statement floral décor which will stand out due to the unusual colour choice. From baby blue, powder blue, Celtic blue, Sky blue, Moroccan blue to Sapphire don’t be afraid to add something blue to your special day.

The best part about neutral colors is that it can fit any wedding style, especially when you can play with different textures. For a Garden party, imagine roses in beautiful neutrals and soft natural greenery. A very elegant and sophisticated yet simple celebration. A beach wedding can have carefree linens, chiffons and rattan furniture for a simple yet modern look. Bear in mind, your entire wedding does not have to be completely neutral.

You can weave in neutral elements into certain parts such as the ceremony chairs or the table décor. You can also add organic décor like a sprig of ferns in a napkin or a garland of ivy or any greenery along the table with candle votives in between.

Florals with these shades are bound to just liven up any room and bring lots of energy to your party. Tropical and vibrant tones set the mood for fun and excitement.
